During the period Sept 1974 to July 1976, I worked after school in the Dept of Anatomy under Dr. Ivan L. Cameron, Ph.D. I need to explain that I was a gifted young man (IQ 180). Attending Winston Churchill high school, I was taking all the math, biology, chemistry, physics, English, & Latin the as the was offered. I was elected president of the Future Scientists of America in my sophomore year and the sponsor got me voluntary positions first at the Bexar County Hospital Emergency Room on Friday and Saturday nights on the 11pm to 7am shift. I learned everything about trauma and its treatment, I learned how to use sterile technique, how to suture, learned material Medica, I could place an angiocath, etc. I accumulated over 3000 hours as a volunteer. This led to me to a position at the Dept of Anatomy, you see Dr. C had a grad student (John William Carter), who needed assistance in the analysis of a tremendous set of visual data. He was researching the sublethal effects of polychloro-biphenols on hepatic cells in mice, specifically how the organelles in the hepatic cells changed. He had arranged the experimental groups as The Control Group, second group had 25 mcg once a day, 50 mcg once a day, and finally 100 mcg once per day for 30 day for 30 days. The animals w
