I ordered 25 trees from Chief River. The Black hill spruce where nice and fresh and green. The 13 Norway pines where dry, brown and looked horrible. I planted them the same day they arrived. All the Norway pines died except two. I did not want to complain right away cause i was hoping they would bounce back. They never did. I contacted them this spring of 2020 and the said tough luck. I will never order from them again. The two on the right are Black Hills. The ones on the left are the Norway. I would have gave them one star but the Black Hills where alright.

from my first time on website to pick out my tree's and then talking to staff about there growing proc. to pickup times, all excellent service. then day of pickup I drove in and was loaded in 10 min. with expert help from staff. perfect turn around for me and will do more purchasing from them. all tree's were healthy and packaged with care. Thank you to chief river nursery and their staff!!!
I order almost every year. I have had great success the trees always seem to take off and grow with minimal care. I've ordered from other nursuries and the trees looked bad upon arrival and a lot died on me. Orders are shipped when I request them. Their good people and sell a quality product.
