Grand Isle Beach is glorious. Beautiful clean beach (not sure what chemicals still lay in the soil) not too many people around (at least in late November) a direct route from where I live, and from what I've heard one of the only ocean front beaches in Louisiana. There's a 3.75 toll to get there across a 2 mile long bridge, but at least it's still there.... The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the view from the beach isn't all that great. Oil rigs off the coast reminds us all of the terrible oil company disasters that have happened in the not so distant past and will probably continue to happen into the future, but as Jello Biafra put it, \there will always be a moon over Marin\ (swap out Marin with Lafourche Parrish and you'll get what I mean)
Loved the fact that everyone was pet friendly and all pets were well behaved. My son , friend and I had a blast at the music fest on the beach . Zepplin, Ozzie etc. Soooo fun and great wheather.
Easy beach access and the port-a-let was clean
Love to come here and have a great family day
