Well basically I did my research that international paper are back ground friendly and I know two people who work for the company in another city with a felony. So me I'm not a felon ,nor have I been convicted of anything I have a Deffered Adjudication, that's all on my record. I pass the 2 hour test, they wanted me to interview the same day,..but I couldn't so I came back the next day, tour and got an offer on the spot. I even told up front about my background. So a month went by again I passed everything the physical, drug test so it's was just my background. They had me give them a statement just to tell me that withdrawal my offer, saying, \the statement I gave showed poor judgement etc etc\ ok my statement clearly says I was protecting my fiancee at the time, etc etc. I feel like there was discrimination of other reason with myself because I'm a Transman also. Honestly you seen the charge, you know I'm not convicted you knew you didn't won't to hire me in the first place. I felt like they was just being nosey. The HR woman seems rude and have an attitude like you can feel the vibes when I try to talk to her, and was not calling me by the name I go by and the right pronouns. Honestly I believe I dodge a bullet . I was offer another position as a Team Lead at great manufacturing which is essential making 23.65 an hour so I'm blessed they didn't won't me because I would never had applied . Their lost , my new company treasure. International paper was just giving 16.22. See the difference lol.
