Rude staff. I walked in and was looked at as if I had no business being in the building. Lady with short blond hair was especially short, acted as if my presence was an inconvenience to her. Went to get an xray for my child, was told xray machine was broken and they have no idea when it would be fixed, was told they have 2 other locations in Denten and Mesquite, I made the comment of those locations being very much out of the way. She responded with how it wasn't her problem and that there wasn't anything she could do about it. Fair enough but I didn't ask what she could do about it.

Second Edit: They did not reach out. Edit : To the owner who responded - If you would like to edit your reply and drop an email address, I'd be happy to share the specific issue I experienced for training purposes. I'm not comfortable sharing on a public forum, but it could definitely help to have the specific issue raised. For perspective, the issue that occurred happened more than 7 times (3x on the same call with 1 person) with Akumin, and 0 times at the office of my referring doctor, and 0 times at the other imaging center I used last month. One mistake is understandable, but after it's corrected I was just very surprised that it continued. Original Review: Not sure if they're lacking sensitivity training here or what. Not lgbt friendly. Honestly, they'd probably see this and think I'm exaggerating but this was the worst experience I've had at any business in a long long time. Most healthcare places are just better than this by now. In fairness my only experience was with the schedulers and insurance verification team. They just made me uncomfortable enough that I never met anyone else there.

Make sure that the technician gives you the panic button and make sure he checks the music volume in your headphones before you are put inside the tube. The tech turned the music volume up too loud but I didn't know it until already in the machine. But he also 'FORGOT' to give me the panic button so I had no way to contact him to ask him to turn the volume down. The volume was so loud I was starting to panic because it hurt my ears/head too much. And he didn't bother to check on me for a very long time. He was supposed to at least glance at me during the procedure, but I had to wave my leg around for him to finally notice me. He then turned the music all the way off - which was better on my ears but I still had to listen to the machine. Not a very competent technician to say the least. An apology from him would have been appreciated. I complained to management and they said they would \talk\ to the technician. The technician needs to retire- he obviously doesn't care about the patient experience at all and he certainly didn't care about me. I will never go here again.

Great experience! The radiologist made me feel comfortable. He was very polite and professional. The environment was clean and took safety measures for cova19. The staff were clean and very nice
