I am sorry but this is NOT working. We have this jitterbug for great grandmother who is 94 years young and lives by herself in the family home. She had at&t land line. It seemed what to do to port, right ? Well, to answer the call you have to swipe up. It can not be programmed to click the power button on the side to answer like any OTHER android. The 5* button is right there. On the home screen. Likely as not trying to click anything on the home screen, she hits the 5*. Swipe up works to answer the call about 1 of 3 tries, quite unresponsive honestly. Hang up ? It does NOT work same way. You do NOT swipe up to hang up but instead press END CALL. No consistency. Making a call is beyond belief. To call, she has to press the power button side of phone. Then, it is in secret private mode, so she has the then slide up to get the screen saver off secret private mode. Next she presses telephone. Next she presses CONTACTS. Then, she has to slide up again to go down to the name in the directory she wants to call. Then, she presses their name -not slide up on that. Then, she sees that contact come up. But, pressing the button for that contact does not dial. Now, you have to press PLACE CALL. Guess what ? That does NOT work for 94 year old lady.

I ordered a flip phone on Jan. 4, 2021, over the phone with GreatCall. We were told that the phone could block numbers, and the sales rep actually asked me for phone numbers that I wanted to block, so I gave them to her, and she said she blocked them on my account, even before the phone was shipped. In addition, we were told that it was possible to port our landline phone number to it, but after attempting to activate the phone, the rep in the Activation Dept. said they would \try\ to see if the number can be ported in. In addition, she said that this phone cannot block numbers. After explaining that the numbers were already blocked on my account, she said that they weren't, and that it's not possible. I asked for the order to be cancelled for a full refund, and asked when they wanted to pick it up. She said that they don't pick up packages, that they use third party services that do not pick up packages. (Of course, I know that FedEx has a pick up service.) I asked to speak to a Manager, ad nauseam, because it was almost impossible to talk to one. The rep said a Supervisor would call me. I told the rep that the Supervisor should only call me after she listens to the recording of the calls from when I ordered the phone, and the current call. The Supervisor called a short time later, obviously before listening to the recordings, because the call from when I ordered it was very lengthy. I told her to listen to the recordings and call me back. I haven't heard back. In addition, we have not received a label for the return of the phone, nor have we received a refund.

Customer service is non existent. My cell phone is my only phone and it stopped working. There is no way to purchase or activate a replacement on the GreatCall website. You have to call them. How are you supposed to do that without a phone? My phone went dead on Friday. I'm elderly and in poor health. I also have their 5 Star alert program, so now I have no way to contact anyone for days if I have an emergency. I've never seen such poor service.

I had great call. All of a sudden I missed getting a bill. Paid that then shortly thereafter another amount was showing due which I paid. I had complained about a data overage as I have another phone I use and barely use this one due to the small amount of data allowed with a plan I can afford. They gave me a credit but again claimed overage on data. I don't know why I did not receive the missing bill, but I do not want to risk this happening every month. I have tried to cancel the account and they tell me I must do it by phone as it is their policy. I tried to call and only got hold. They offer to call me but I work nights and sleep irregularly and can not give them a good time to call. All I want to do is cancel. They tell me cancelling in writing by certified mail will not cancel the account. I suppose I will just have to let them do what they want and then I will do what is necessary. They have been very stubborn in cancelling. You know someone has the authority to cancel the account by email or certified mail but are making it difficult for a customer to cancel. Best idea is to not buy into Great Call. Their plans to get the medical help etc and much data are cost prohibitive anyway.
