I had a wonderful experience today with their repair service! I called about a problem with my machine. I did not purchase it from them and it is not even a brand they sell. However, the technician was willing to speak with me directly. He told me that the problem most like was a pin or other object lodged inside the embroidery arm. I asked if it was something I might be able to fix myself, as I really needed my machine immediately. He said it probably was and explained what to do. I was able to get into the machine, removed a straight pin and was quickly running again. What a wonderful experience! I will be having all my maintenance performed at this shop in the future. And if I choose to purchase another machine in the future, this will be where I go. Thanks to them for their kindness, honesty and professionalism.

Pretty disappointed with my overall experience here. I went in this afternoon with an elderly woman I care for. She wanted to get out and about, and wanted to see what this little shop had. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a gentleman who asked what we were looking for. She explained she was just looking around, looking for things she may be able to do, things that interest her. He very rudely told her that they just deal with sewing machines, and cut her conversation off at that, and didn’t welcome us to look around, just stood there staring at us. The shop was not busy, and it wouldn’t have inconvenienced this gentleman to simply allow this older lady to just look around!! He was extremely rude and insensitive. Wouldn’t really recommend this shop.

After much shopping, I purchased my Bernina from Stitch In Time almost 9 years ago. I find Curtis and his staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable about all things related to my sewing machine, quilting projects or sewing. I am always greeted when I enter the store and everyone is friendly. My questions are patiently answered, new products are demonstrated and my machine is serviced in a timely manner. I usually leave the store inspired to sew after seeing all the beautiful store samples. I highly recommend Stitch in Time.
