The SPCA of the Triad is amazing! I have recently adopted a pup (mix breed) and he is a perfect addition to our family. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they all have nothing but love for these animals. Please, if you are looking to add a new for baby to your family, adopt from the SPCA.

Extremely nice and helpful staff. Both staff and volunteers going above and beyond their calling. They believe that what they do is life changing, to both animals and owners.

Early one morning i was invited to breakfast by my loved one to a place that i had never heard of. Its called The Moose cafe. I didn't know what to expect. The waitress was very exceptional. Positive energy made great suggestions in reference to kids meals. Interacted with the children, as well as other persons at our tables. She was told that it was my grand daughters birthday. The waitress departed and returned with several others snd sang Happy Birthday to my loved one. that really made her feel special. She didn't know it but, this was the first of many surprises for her this day. Me too! My daughter came in with my grandson who i had not seen since his last day with me. since he started day care. You see i had taken care of him since his birth three years ago. It was not easy for me to let go of our special bond. More even he was in a police uniform that his mom brought him for this occasion. There were 7 gentlemen beside us and upon looking closer they were law enforcement officers having breakfast. My grandson said look grandad police like me. He jumped up and ran over to the men and said hi I'm a police too! At that point one of the men excused himself from the table and departed, returning with gifts for my grandson. At this point i was at a loss for words. He was given a insignia patch as well as a gold coin. Military veterans like myself understand receiving this kind of coin. It speaks of duty, honor respect fo the person receiving such a coin. This went from having a simple breakfast to my grand daughter being over come with excitement her brother as well as my whole family. A day to remember for us all !!! Thanks !!! Keep spreading the love Moose Cafe we needed that. When there's so much discord we can learn from the children! See pictures

My 4 year old daughter and I volunteer here about two times a week and we love it! It's small and cozy inside. They have been very nice and welcoming to us. We have already met a few techs, fellow volunteers, and even the operator of this specific SPCA came in one of the days we were there. Everyone is pleasant and supportive of enlightening and including my daughter (who wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up). All the animals seem well cared for and taken care of since we've been here (going on about 3 weeks now). I highly recommend them and support the cause they represent in trying to find homes for animals that need a second chance ️
