Went to Japan inn for a birthday. I got the hibachi steak and shrimp. The food was great. The waitress was very patient and accommodating to our large party that included teenagers. I would definitely recommend visiting for a special occasion

The best Japanese restaurant around. The best restaurant around in general. I love their buy one get one free sushi deal, but everything I've ever tried has been delicious. I highly recommend.

Thinking back to the 90's brings the realization of how much Japanese culture and restaurants have expanded. There used to be only one hibachi grill where they cooked in front of you but almost everything else was the generic Americanized Chinese joints. Kanpai was the name, it was as eccentric as was the price and it felt special. Now here we are in 2021 and every town has a sushi joint or hibachi grill in the mix, and this is one of them. Not a knock against their craft, but just about everything they serve there is as expected. I will take a point down for their chicken cutlet being dry as can be, but I'm sure 7 year old me would've scared it down. Come here and get what you expect, but not much more. Not an adventure, but some people aren't looking for that.

I love this place. It was my first time and my husband and I got the all you can eat sushi (made to order). It was very good. I will definitely be back.

I am always impressed with the food when I come here. The entrance could use some work, but the food quality and portion size is amazing. I took my family here twice. Every time, I am amazed at the service, the staff, and the food. It is very rare for me to have left-overs when eating sushi. The pictures are a bento box, and some sushi my family shared.
