This place is amazing! I just moved from Washington State. One of the hardest things was I had to give up Japanese bread and many of Japanese food I found at the Japanese store there. But, this very small Japanese grocery store has mostly everything I want including my favorite Japanese bread! You can't find this bread in any Asian store except Uwajimaya in Washington state (I don't know about other states). Fortunately or unfortunately, this place is not so far from where I will be working from. I have to be careful not to blow my budget there

Good selection of Japanese snacks and cooking ingredients. I am able to find things I can't find in traditional grocery stores. The staff is always friendly.

If you need some nori or maybe a broiled eel, Tanpopo is your one stop shop. This family owned and run business is pleasure to have in our community, and one that has been around for far longer than most realize.
