First, I'm not comfortable at doctors' offices or anything healthcare really; and, I'm not easily impressed. But I'm thankful I chose Internal Medicine of Griffin. At my first visit, the attentiveness, efficiency and kindness of both the front desk person and the nurse put me at ease. Then the time, attention to detail, and caring manner of Dr. Cross made me thankful for and confident in having chosen this practice for my ongoing healthcare needs.

Things have drastically changed. Very seldom have I ever had to deal with billing over the past 18 years. Yet today, unfortunately had to deal with Leah in billing. She rushed to get me off the phone, after trying to understand/resolve billing issue. guess

Reception staff is rude. I have seen doctor Kevin Napier and Lisa Clanton, NP, and Tamika their nurse. I love them but the billing is always a problem. If I’m there for a follow up visit or non-diagnostic called preventative visit I’m still charged for diagnostic which is fraudulently being charged to my insurance. There should be no cost to me for one preventative visit per year but every time I go it’s charged as a diagnostic visit. Great doctors but I shouldn’t have to tell the doctor every time I go how he is suppose to charge.

I am so sad Lisa Clanton left. She was the BEST!!! But, Gary Alexander is also my favorite too. These two are both SO kind and helpful and always take the time to listen to what's going on. Even though Lisa isnt there anymore, I would HIGHLY recommend Gary!
