Should have had a fighter jet theming because you feel like a fighter pilot being launched off an aircraft carrier on this ride. The ride is short but sweet. The launch is immediately followed by a vertical takeoff and is very fun
it's a short ride but the unexpected twists and turns makes it great
I rode Maxx Force for the first time yesterday and I was OUT DONE! I was not expecting this coaster to be so thrilling because looking at vids of the ride does not justify on how thrilling and intense the ride is. The ride is so INTENSE it literally took my breathe away I couldn’t believe it. When I got off the ride it still felt like I was on it. That launch is ridiculous had my heart racing so fast. Definitely the best launch coaster I ever been on even better than Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. Coming out of the dog tongue inversion you pick up so much speed at the bottom I was seeing stars that zero G roll BLEW ME THE HELL AWAY!!!!!!!!!! The last 2 inversions were pretty intense too. For this small foot print to come up with a launch with 5 inversions was the best concept they could come up with and I am extremely proud of the park for putting this in. It’s such a beautiful coaster to look at. It fits so good in the skyline. Looking at the skyline from the American Eagle is such a stunning view of Max Force and all the other coasters. Love the direction the park is going and I can see more coasters being built from time to time. Maxx Force is definitely 5 stars on my radar. Well done Six Flags Great America
I've been on Cedar Points Top Thrill Dragster which is one of the most talked about launches in America and Maxx Force blew it out of the water. The wait was long and also in the heat but the intensity and exhilaration of the ride made up for it. Best roller coaster I've ever ridden.

Being a Chicago native, I love great america. Needless to say, with this being the only park in driving distance, I am always excited for a new coaster. Obviously I was very excited for Maxx Force. But after riding it, I was rather disappointed. I was in the line for at least 2 hours, if not 3. In the end, the ride broke down almost 20 times. Not only did it stop just before I arrived, It was stopped while I was on the launch, and after the launch (my favorite by far) the rest of the coaster is rather underwhelming, leaving me thinking, "that's it?" no doubt it's a must for this park, its a good warm up ride.
We waited like a hour and a half in line! When we finally rode it, It was not that good. I would not recommend this coaster again.
