My experience has been good overall. Pretty quick in/out. My only complaint is when it comes to the reception area and the amount of personal questions I have to answer with zero confidentiality. If people are waiting in line they hear everyone’s answers whether is address, phone# and your symptoms. Northshore has a very good app and all that info is in the app, it would be great if staff can manage/limit the amount of questions asked in the reception area and review the info from the app and/or system.

There are much better ways to reduce your patients anxiety. You had a “e-visit” which pre-screens your patients, and directs them immediately to the facility for follow up. If the e-visit immediately directs me to the facility - why did it take over an hour to be seen? Wouldn’t it be better for patients to know exactly when they will be seen? Many other urgent care centers are adopting the practice - it just makes good business and health sense to be more efficient if you have the ability And to promise test results in 24 hours (multiple people promised) when it takes 72 hours was just seriously wrong. I understand you may be busy, but many of your patients depend on you to be up front and honest about how long it takes for test results. Especially in the midst of a pandemic. You are obligated to be a better health partner, if that is the relationship you want to have with your clients. If not... Well. TWO STARS FOR YOU!!!

Have been in an out without any problems 3 or 4 times.

The nurse was fantastic, but the doctor deemed me unnecessary for COVID testing even though I have immune compromised parents and congestion with loss of taste and smell. The nurse took my test, I waited for my doctor, and was then told I don’t need it and they threw the test away without telling me. Had to call to confirm they never ran my test

This was my first time at a northshore facility and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. This is a covid testing site and there is no one triaging urgent care patients from covid patients. The front desk was slow and arguing with one another. I had to ask 3 times for them to call back to see if the room was ready to see my baby who had broken out in extreme hives. It took 15 minutes to get the room ready. The nurse/CNA misfired the EpiPen and then told me it was the only pediatric EpiPen available. After finding another EpiPen and administering it into my baby's leg, the nurse and doctor left the room leaving me with a bleeding baby and no bandage. I will definitely choose a different urgent care site next time our family needs one.
