10/10, one of the top 10 best doctors' experiences in my life, and definitely one of the best specialist facilities I've ever been to. Before even arriving, they go the extra mile to make you feel prepared and included by sending your registration forms inside a personalized patient resource packet. At the facility itself, you receive a placard letting you know the names and titles of every person you'll be interacting with--no surprises (which as a person with compound trauma, this was an incredible gesture that I'd love to see more offices adopt). Everyone was exceptionally friendly and very thoroughly communicative, from the front desk to checkout. I was also very pleasantly impressed by how conscious of comorbidities and other systemic disorders the med team was; I felt like my total wellness was being taken into account for my care plan. I'm glad to have UF Health as my new home base for my sensitive needs. I couldn't be more grateful for my whole experience with the UF Gyno Cancer Center as a whole, and I couldn't be happier to have been referred to Dr. Lorna Brudie directly. As a transmasculine person, finding just a regular gyno is a trial by fire, and finding a compassionate gynecological oncologist is an even tougher task. Dr. Brudie exceeded expectations. While her online profile definitely does credit to her credentials, it doesn't do justice to how kind and astute she is in person.
