Went on the 8 am tour and have to say..... wow! First stop had 1 shark keeping its distance, so they moved us to another location near a cage dive site. Immediately our boat was swarmed with 8-12 ft sharks! Counted a total of 17 sharks around. Some getting so close they brushed my fins! Absolutely amazing!

This was incredible! This was my second time snorkeling with the big sharks and first time without a cage. If you're nervous about safety - you'll be totally fine. You'll have a safety diver in the water as a precaution who can step in if a shark gets too close for comfort. They also teach you proper shark etiquette/behavior. The sharks kept a reasonable distance from us (usually 15 ft or so below us). I felt totally comfortable in the water. We saw Galapagos, Black Tip, and Sandbar sharks. We also saw a whale close by and could hear them singing underwater. Can't wait to do this again!
My son and I swam with the sharks today. They are amazing animals. The staff was awesome and informative on the subject of shark behavior and habits. Take dramamine!!!!!
So let me start by saying this was absolutely amazing experience. An unforgettable and priceless moment in my life. Our guide was experienced and very knowledgeable. She made it very comfortable considering you were about to be in open water with sharks. The captain was also very helpful and knowledgeable. At no point did I ever feel threatened or in danger with at least 25 to 30 sharks right below us. We were able to be in the water from the time we got to the dive location till it was time to depart. The sharks were Amazing!!!!!! Such an amazing animal to be so close to. The were curious but not to where I felt in danger. I am already lookin to book 1 more trip before I leave the island. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looks for a experienced of a lifetime.
Really precious experience with One Ocean Diving. Snorkeling and diving with sharks are interesting, the staff are so friendly!!!! They have floating pole for GoPro if you bring one with no charge!!!! That is awesome!!! Looking forward to see the footage they took.
What a beautiful experience with sharks in the open water. Well educated & safety minded staff. Nothing can compare to this tour on the island of Oahu. Would highly recommend this adventure!
Absolutely perfect experience! I booked a shark dive because I wanted to get over my fear of sharks after today this will definitely be a on going hobby Can’t wait for next month!
We had the best time with Tracy and Captain Shiloh. We went out at 10am on Sunday and despite it being winter in Hawaii, it was a beautiful, mostly sunny morning. The wind was minor but kind of a strong current still. We were surrounded by 12 sharks who were curious and came around super close to us. I was nervous at times but felt super safe with Tracy and Shiloh. They are experts! It was peaceful after the initial nervousness passed. It was a great dive, amazing experience! Not every dive is the same so I’m sure every experience is different. Make sure to take seasickness pills before! We don’t usually get nauseous but with the adrenaline and nervousness, and boat rocking some of us got a little woozy. We bought the go pro package which was good but Tracy was staying alert of all the sharks around us, and filming all 5 of us, and keeping us safe so don’t be upset if you buy the package and it’s not the most excellent, focused footage. I learned a lot about sharks, how they can be kinda cute and graceful, and a lot more gentle than media portrays them. 100% would come back again!! Thank you 1ocean for all you guys do!!
