We have ordered from here a number of times and really liked it; however, tonight’s experience was 1 star. I understand that it’s not an Italian restaurant, but there is maybe half a polly-o string cheese on this chicken parmigiana. The sauce had absolutely no seasoning and the cutlet was burned. Also ordered the chicken pot pie. Very disappointing. This was probably the tenth time we have ordered from here and we have been happy with them (herb roasted chicken, eggplant parmigiana, burger, chicken sandwiches, etc. ). Disappointing dinner tonight.

I love the fish and chips platter from here. It comes with a great dipping sauce. And it's really hard to find good fish and chips in the upper West side so I was happy that Harriet's kitchen offers it. I hate that the prices here keeps going up. And if you order for delivery they add on two dollars for delivery fee.

Was there today, best burger in the area. Order it medium/ rare not medium. Try also the chili and of course the chicken! This place is a hidden gem for real. The owner is very pleasant and attentive. He even offered me the paper while waiting for my fresh burger to cook. I will go back for sure. Support local business!

Hungry for a burger? Look elsewhere! I was recommended this place, by my doorman. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a chicken noodle soup for 40. I was told 15-20 minutes, wow sounds great. Right? One hour later, I called to inquire about my order, and was greeted rudely by Don. I asked Don has anything happened to my order? Don yelled profanities at me about having his delivery person knocking at my door several times, without a response. Don never gave me a moment to respond, and hung up on me. I never received a phone call or heard anyone knock or ring my doorbell. Before calling back I rang my doorman, to double check. My doorman told me, he had been on duty since 8am and no deliveries have arrived for me today. I called Don back, to ask if the delivery can be sent out again since I was a paying customer and was very hungry. Don was very upset, yelling profanities telling me he would send the police instead. I am astonished that an establishment that treats its customers in this manner exist. Where has customer service gone in our world? Will we continue to fund places that treat their customers in this manner? Please think twice about my experience, and don’t let this happen to you. I know we live in busy New York City, but there are many places in our neighborhood that strive to make our meals with a smile in hope to have us come back again. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

"You can't get a better piece of chicken, unless you're a rooster," says Harriet's Kitchen. Well, I can vouch for the Chicken Pot Pie, as good or better than anything you'll find on the UWS. They do a very respectable Fish & Chips and a more than acceptable Pulled Pork Sandwich. "Eclectic" indeed.

Best burger for the price in UWS. Sad it's closed

The best fried chicken in the UWS. My boyfriend just told me that is close permanently. I was broke heart.

Ordered the Eggplant Parm. It was fantastic. It’s getting harder to find really good delivery on the UWS at a reasonable price. Harriet’s Kitchen has nailed it.
