I have been visiting Nettie Bay since I was a little girl. I now take my own family every year. From fishing, swimming, boating, hiking and campfire stories in summer, to deer camp for my husband in winter... Nettie Bay is our favorite!

misleading from the start! yelp reviews are more accurate! absolutely no pets! so make shure you make your pet an emotional support animal before you go..my family packed for a 9 day trip with boat in tow had to move from the first duplex the first day, because unbeknownst to us pets are not allowed despite multiple websites had said pet friendly! Jackie the owner had a chip on her shoulder the second we walked after a 7 hour trip because she is the only one who is allowed to not wear a mask in these covid times. Every time I took the garbage out once a day they had more rules for me because that's when they saw me.we left on day 5 when they could no longer house 5 people in the cabin they were moving us to again. We've made our dog an emotional support animal just to appease the lodge and it still wasn't good enough. At least they didn't bill us passed the deposit its the only saving grace considering the aggravation
Beautiful. Place is well kept and owner is ready nice and accommodating.
For me this is a five star resort because I was looking for a good old fashioned Up North Michigan vacation. This is THE place. Very pleasant hosts. Outstanding fishing for bass,. northern pike, perch and panfish. A lot of open, uninhabited shoreline. A town with supermarket etc. Come for the relaxation, stay for the loons,.great blue heron and.other wildlife. I'll be returning.

Mark and Jackie Schuler are an amazing couple. They made our stay precisely what we were looking for. Mrs. Jackie’s cooking was out of this world and Mark’s guiding was top notch. Christine and Vinnie made us feel like family. The setting is serene and cabins cozy. A splendid array of animals around the lake and patio. Perfect place to reconnect with Mother Nature.
Looking for a vacation spot on a lake that you can ride ATVs too? Look no further, this is the place for you. Its ultra quiet at the cabins, beautiful lake 40 ft from the back door, plenty of private trails to cruise around on with the fam. All around great time AWAY from the CITY LIFE!
Awesome place! Just spent five days I've fishing. The location is beautiful, and the fish were plentiful!
