Heartwood did an incredible job, nailed it for what we wanted. I have never had that good of a professional job done on my trees in the 35 years since I have lived here. The Red Oak in the back looks great and the two skyline locusts in front are exactly what I was hoping for. The guys shaped those trees perfectly.

Heartwood is a top-notch company. I can't recommend them enough. Their philosophy on tree work is a good match for mine. They love trees and it's obvious in the work they do. I got in touch with Brent at Heartwood to help me with some tree clearing in our woods near Verona. They sent a crew of three for a full day of work. We had a large storm damage tree hung up in another tree, and then a bunch of pruning and removal of trees to thin a crowded woodland and open up space in the canopy for smaller oak trees to grow into. Brent came for a visit and walkthrough and was super helpful with planning for what was best for the site. He listened to what I wanted, and gave advice on the best way to get it done. They were flexible with scheduling, including coming out in winter to minimize the potential for oak wilt. The crew was Brent, Pete, and Kurt, and all were professional, highly skilled, and careful. They did their work without heavy equipment. Just saws and ropes, climbing where needed to access higher branches. They were flexible when I had trees or shrubs I wanted to avoid damaging, even when those were right next to the tree they were cutting. I've been around other work crews, and these guys stood out to me with how much they seemed to love what they were doing. They had a 100% positive attitude the whole day. They talked through what they were doing with me, and they took care of my property as if it were their own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heartwood, and will definitely work with them again in the future.

Our experience with Heartwood Tree Company was very positive! Garrett came out and assessed the trees we had concerns about and let us know what to do next. The quote process was easy - an email and online acceptance! We knew they were scheduled pretty far out, but were able to get the job done earlier due to an opening in their schedule. The crew was here on a cold day to remove our huge oak tree that unfortunately died. They took care in their work, were conscientious of our neighbors and cleaned up the site right away! Then we were able to pay the invoice online! I know Garrett is very respectful of the environment and we are looking forward to seeing if the oak can be used in any products by a local company! We'd definitely recommend Heartwood for any tree care needs!

They did a great job trimming a number of very large trees. Worked hard and looks great. Excellent job of clean up at the end. And entertained our 1.5 year old next door neighbor boy all day as they flew up and down pulleys like mountain climbers. Would recommend them.

Garrett and team are great. Them communication was great when it's hard to even get companies to answer your call. The online quote approval/system is fantastic. The last company I worked with required me to sign/scan/email them approval. No one has time for that and their trimming was far less thorough.
