We rented a pontoon from Heinen’s for a work function and had a fantastic time. Our group had people from NC, MA, CA, TN, IN and everyone had a blast and commented on how beautiful the lake was and the experience working with Heinen’s was effortless. Rollie and the workers were helpful, and informative. A couple of people mentioned wanting to buy a place in Mound as the area was so wonderful. The weather was perfect, the pontoon was new and so nice. Great experience.

Rollie was very generous and helped us with a life jacket situation today, despite us not being customers. Our group is very thankful and will use Heinen's should we ever need a rental. Thanks again for the help!
Had a great day thanks to their boat! They were super helpful - had some rainy weather but they communicated well and we were able to adjust accordingly. Will rent from them again!
Awesome place! Rollie and his crew set me up with a top notch new pontoon. My wife and her coworkers from Medtronic loved it. Will definitely be back to try one of their new wake surf boats. Thanks again for a great Lake Minnetonka experience!!!
This was such an amazing company to rent from! The service and staff were extremely friendly and courteous from the first call for the reservation, to the owner coming out and greeting us personally. The boat was emaculate and really beautiful and new. They offer a variety water sport equipment and we had a blast tubing! Couldn't have asked for a better experience and can't wait to rent from them again. Will be recommending to all of my friends.
They all act like they own surfside launch which is a public launch. Rude operation.
We found Heinen’s Marine to be dishonest, unprofessional, and unacceptable to say the least. I told Rollie when I initially inquired about renting, that I was looking for a 15 passenger pontoon. I told him we would have 12 people but that we wanted a 15 passenger boat. He assured me that they had one available. I called him back to confirm that I wanted to reserve the 15 pass pontoon and gave him my credit card. I also emailed him confirming the 15 pass boat. When we arrived, we were told our boat was ready. I thought it looked small but assumed it was the size we reserved. However, once we were out on the lake we noticed the boat said it was an 11 pass boat. We were very cramped as we had a baby in a portacrib. When we returned and asked about it, we were told that we only had 11 people (we had 12) and there was another party with more people so they decided to give the 15 pass boat to them- without even asking us! Had I known they would give us an 11 pass boat I would not have rented- I was specifically looking for a 15 pass and made it very clear to Rollie. I have not been reimbursed or refunded anything (I did ask), just a “sorry for the misunderstanding “. There was no misunderstanding; I made it clear 3x that I wanted to rent the 15 pass- which was promised to me prior to arrival. Rent here at your own risk.
