I have always liked the food from Hello Dinner. There are so many delicious options. Recently, I made an order and wanted to try the asparagus lasagna. It was so tasty. I will definitely order it again!

It was a strange thought at first to heat up the food in the microwave. I have to say, it was delicious! The Salmon, chicken nuggets and fresh vegetables were excellent! Extremely convenient and great food to boot. We'll be eating here more often.

My husband gave me a gift certificate for Mother's Day. The first time I tried to order the website menu was not working. Each time I thought to call it was after 2 when they were closed. When I was finally able to order, it was a huge pain because I had to call to find out how to use the gift certificate. The gal I spoke to seemed irritated and impatient with my questions and that I asked her to take my order over the phone....she had already told me to order online but I called back because I couldn't use the certificate online. I ordered the Family Style Chicken Breast, Yukon Gold Mashers, Sauteed Seasonal Veggies & Garlic Lemon & Herb Butter. I told her we had 4 adults and 3 teens - she assured me 6 servings would be enough. When I picked up my order today I was frustrated to see that it would not be enough to feed my family. As far as the food, it was rather disgusting. My mashed potatoes were green and tasted awful. I expected the veggies to be normal things like carrots, broccoli, peppers, peas, etc. There was broccoli and a bunch of stuff I could not identify and did not look appetizing at all. The chicken was ok but rather bland. On top of all that, I did not get the Garlic Lemon & Herb Butter!!! It was Salmon Butter which no one in my family touched. I still have money left on my gift certificate and I really wish that I didn't because I was not happy with my experience. Hello Dinner REALLY needs to be more specific on the menu in regards to what exactly is in each and every dish so that we know what the heck we are getting. The customer service end needs work as well with better hours and nicer people working the phone.

Their website is difficult to order from. The hours are terrible since I use to go and pick up food all the time but have rarely ordered from them since they created such limited hours. The food was good. Great gluten free options.

My wife and I use Hello dinner every week and overall we’re satisfied, however less is more and some of these dishes are entirely spicier than they need to be. We support local business and this fits our lifestyle having two 6yos and a 16yo however some of the dishes need to change-mainly the heat level as not even myself will eat it. Keep up the good work, but please be cognizant as you have children as well as people who don’t like being in pain eating these meals. I love the pulled pork and cauliflower mashed potatoes

Healthy Fast Food! It tastes great and there is no guilt. Hello Dinner is also a great place to go for certain dietary needs such as low sodium, dairy free, gluten free, etc. or if you are just in a bind and want to avoid a drive thru!

I started ordering prepared meals about 3 months ago. There seem to be two major contenders in the area: Hello Dinner and Feed My Fit. Both are great. Ultimately, it comes down to taste. Things I like: - Simple, once a week pickup or delivery. One reviewer notes not having reasonable times to pickup meals, but they do have after hours pickup, so I'm not sure what they mean. - Customizable. They're happy to help modify meals for you to a reasonable extent. In my case, I order dairy free and preferably no nuts and seeds. You can also let them no if there's a particular dish you want to substitute out in place of another one on that week's menu. - Friendly. I read a couple of reviews that imply the opposite. I've only had positive encounters. In fact, I've probably made a request-whether it be to pause, start, or modify about every 2 - 3 weeks since I started. They've been happy to accommodate every time. - Good food. If I'm cooking, it's whatever can fit on the foreman grill, or in the skillet with little to no seasoning. Some reviewers have said the food is too spicy or has too many seasoning. That sounds like a taste preference and they've said in response that they can substitute that particular dish the consumer finds it to be too much. Things that could improve: - Website. This is the only negative thing I really have to say. Any requests to start, stop, or modify orders are made by phone or email. The website is mainly good for signing up, viewing the menu, and gathering info. It would be nice to have a login with an area to manage my subscription. Still 5 stars. Website improvements would be a bonus, but very few local services ever have great websites so I can't ding 'em.
