Free to park & wander the grounds. Building was closed (Covid-19). One main loop - probably 3/4 mile, paved and well maintained, plus an outer gravel half-loop in the prairie. Plan on one hour. Original 1880s hedge row is neat.

Take a stroll. Read a book. Watch the wildlife. Talk to the very knowledgeable staff about the plants or animals. There are amazing things happening here and I loved every minute I am here. If it is hot, don't worry there is lots of shade. If you need to know what plant you find and love someone will tell you. Then go back for the plan sale and take it home for your yard. Please visit and enjoy nature.

The light display is awesome. Great romantic date opertunity, we brought our young kids less they lost their minds then we lost ours and had to go. The arboretum was great though.

What a great place to take your children. Lots of turtles to enjoy watching. Different butterflies and caterpillars and other bugs to look at. A huge variety of plants and flowers. And an awesome little book walk for the kids to enjoy. Today we read about Old MacDonald and his dragon. Definitely recommend this place for family enjoyment out even just to relax and enjoy the sounds of the birds. We love it!

Xmas lights tour was well managed. A bit crowded, but plenty of space for social distancing. Fun for kids.
