Dr. Grotas has an attentive and friendly front office and medical staff. He does not work for a hospital and therefore he is able to attend to a patient for as long as he feels necessary and the patient's questions have all been been answered. He will also review with you any tests that you may have had and answer all questions and concerns you may have regarding the results of these tests. He will also make comments on other health issues not related to urology that he observes in his examination and can offer recommendations on who to see regarding his observation. He truly cares about the health and well being of his patients. He gives good advice and makes you comfortable during the examination. He is friendly and easy to talk to. A great personality too! I would very highly recommend him.

If you read reviews, be prepared to be the next person to give this office five stars. The staff is great. The doc is great. This type of medicine can be personal and embarrassing but they all made me feel comfortable, and they are super competent. The only wack thing is the parking. 1800 Rockaway has some horrible parking. I'm not taking off stars for that.

What a rare treat these days to find a doctor's office that still provides individualized attention, unrushed appointments, and prompt responses to phone calls and emails! My father has praised this office for many years but Dr Grotas and his staff have been an absolute blessing for him recently during a complicated few months battling multiple medical issues. His surgical skills and updated office technology even allowed him to return to some normalcy versus lifelong catheter use. And with the staff's genuine friendliness along with Dr Grotas's personable demeanor and sense of humor, you know urine good hands there (hahaaaaa!!!)

Maaaan.... the Doc is the Master of the Pipes. I've seen 2 urologists. He's The Greatest of All Time. Even looks like a TV Dr.. but he's real and groovy so is his awesome staff. He definitely set the bar high in his profession.
