As a photographer, I can say the Retreat at Hiawassee River is truly a wedding dream! It's the perfect venue for a wedding! There are beautiful cozy cabins nestled a serene getaway! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the staff excel in customer experience and taking care of their clients. They put so much care and time into the venue and every wedding or event that happens there. We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the cabins on site are a wonderful added bonus. Megan was very responsive and friendly, answering all of our questions leading up to the event. Even when the venue flooded 2 days before our event, the owners and staff put in double time to get everything looking beautiful by our big day. It was not even noticeable that anything catastrophic had happened by the day of our wedding. The staff is very personable, flexible and accommodating to your needs. Highly recommend this venue!!
Thank you to Richard and his crew for going above and beyond so my daughter could have her wedding by the river . You all worked so hard to make it happen. After the second flood of the month, there was much cleanup that needed to be done once again. Your hard work did not go unnoticed so thank you from the bottom of my heart! Also thanks to Megan and Joey. You guys are wonderful! I appreciate everything you done to help make our stay perfect!️
Very beautiful place, and I could go on all day capturing photos here. Really enjoyed the staff here as well. You don't get many venues where they take care of their vendors too :)
Loved every second of our time spent here for our wedding! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. You really have anything and everything you could need at this venue. We loved being able to have all of our friends and family stay with us in the cabins too, so special! It is gorgeous up in them hills, and we will never forget our time here. Thank you all for making our wedding day awesome!!
