Don't send your loved ones to this place. Debbie Knauss, the owner, is only about the money. In a 45 day period 5 different counselors were hired and then quit. That doesn't include the rest of the staff that quit or was fired in that same 45 day period. They were purchasing cigarettes for my 19 year old daughter while she was in treatment there even though legal age is 21. They are supposed to be a treatment center for addictions but they only fueled her addiction for nicotine by purchasing it and then billing us for it later. If you want a treatment center that TRULY cares about your recovery and your future I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HEALING SPRINGS RANCH in TIOGA,TX. Touchstone needs to be reevaluated by the state and looked at for insurance fraud. There is a long list of inadequacies at TOUCHSTONE RANCH. This was just the tip of the iceberg.

We would not recommend Touchstone Ranch Recovery. We know they will come back with a rebuttal. My son relapsed within the first month being out. He reached out to Touchstone for help before relapsing and they would not assist him. They also promise a followup call for when they get out. Huge staff turn over his counselor left when he got out. That’s the excuse they used for not doing the follow up call. They said they would call back but did not. Instead of being upfront two months later after four positive UA’s for meth, marijuana and alcohol he is in a different rehab facility. The new facility does not allow the sexes to interact without a counselor there. Even while touring the new facility on over 60 acres the women are on the back half of the acreage and the men on the other half to ensure no unchaperoned interaction. After, 7,500 up front and my son not remaining clean for a month we would not recommend them.

I am the parent of an adult son that wrote a negative review about Touchstone Rehab as well as the owner and director of the facility. As often happens, a client and my loved one often does not want or feel the need for the help and treatment offered by rehab centers. This facility and my friend, Debbie, saved his life and mine as she helped me to attain hope by her concern, love, intervention and persistence to reach out, hold onto and bring him back to reality. I rebuke all negative comments by anyone who criticizes Debbie or her staff or the facility itself. I am so very grateful for her friendship and the concern and patience with me as well as anyone who resists her and the program.

As a co-owner of Touchstone Ranch Recovery Center, I felt compelled to respond to the less than glowing review provided by Mr. Cooper. Ownership of Touchstone Ranch Recovery Center changed in late 2014. While Mr. Cooper may have been an employee under previous ownership, he has not been employed under our ownership. We can neither confirm nor deny the accuracy and/or truth to any of the accusations leveled by Mr. Cooper, other than to say, “Not on Our Watch”! And, why almost 2 years after ownership change did Mr. Cooper feel the need to write this review? We welcome anyone to look at Touchstone Ranch Recovery Center and the reputation and quality of our program. We believe it is second to none!
