Used to be good please to rent tools, lately not so much. They always try to rent the tool based on what they think is needed for project, and not what you want. Last two times I ended up renting from Sunbelt, even though it was a little more.

Both the website and another store showed products available for rent, showed up and was told that the tool wasn't. Also won't accept reservations nor are they willing to let you know when the item might be available.

I love this particular location of the Home Depot. Their tool rental service is good, and they have really stepped up their customer service with their floor employees.

Went to tool rental here to rent a wallpaper steamer. The person working completely ignored me; finished the current sale and took another customer (a man) before he even acknowledged me, despite the fact that I had been there before him. I got home, started the steamer, and it shut itself off after less than 5 minutes of use. I call the number on the receipt and the guy tells me to let it cool off, and proceeds to hang up on me. The steamer never went on again. I took it back, and they gave me a refund on the deposit, and I'm still waiting for the refund. Will not be coming to the Home Depot again.
