I worked with Joy during my second pregnancy and birth at home. She was wonderful to work with during pregnancy. She is an incredibly positive and uplifting person. She has a beautiful passion for the work she does to help women with pregnancy and birth. During my labor and birth she was a huge support and helped to make me feel comfortable and confident in my ability to birth my daughter. She helped to make my birth a beautiful experience without fear. I would recommend her to any woman without hesitation and would work with her again if I had another child.

Joy was such a powerful presence in the time I needed her the most. She met with me while I was pregnant several times and even recommended a midwife that I employed. Joy offered peace in a difficult pregnancy for me. I don't know what I would have done with out her. She was and is a blessing to me and I can't thank her enough for her help. She came during my night labor right away, she got me up and moving, she offended emotional support and was my voice when I didn't have one. She stayed for a while after my daughter was born at 5 am and helped me get comfortable. I can't say enough how much I love this lady.

She gave me an essential oil massage too!!!! Throughout my pregnancy, she encouraged me. She has such a JOYous spirit and a loving heart. I also appreciate her work in encapsulating my placenta. For baby #3 I decided I wanted an all natural birth. I met with Joy at a local shop and knew without a doubt that I wanted her to be present at the birth of this child. Hubby was unsure about all of it but trusted me to make the best choice. After our beautiful daughter entered the world hubby told me that all births should come standard with a doula!! Joy knew just what to do and helped me to embrace the pain instead of fight against it. Look no further for your doula!! If I could give Joy more than 5 stars I would!!! She was seriously AMAZING!!! I had a VBA3C 2 years ago & she was a great support. She helped me a ton and she also helped my husband as well. She was teaching my husband different techniques on how to help me when I was in labor. Once it was time to push... she took pictures of the birth and it was great. I love the pictures! She made sure the atmosphere of the room was calm & relaxing. She also would text me once in awhile to ask how I was and the baby. Thank you soooo much! If you are looking for a doula.....LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Joy is your girl!!!
