I had an issue with a couple cars we bought at HobbyTown. Tim and the staff bent over backwards to make sure that it got taken care of and everything worked out. I would highly recommend you for all your rc car and hobby needs. These guys really stand up for what they sell.

I have purchased a lot of stuff from Hobbytown. Upon some issues that came up with my last purchases they went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we got taken care of. I will definitely be back because of how they treat their customers.

Tim is the best! He know's everything about RC equipment and makes it fun and easy to understand and use. His customer service is 2nd to none! My son and I love the Blade 180qx that he introduced to us.

I'm into RC airplanes and have made several purchases from HobbyTown. I firmly believe in supporting local hobby shops. Plus, they give you 5% store credit for every purchase you make, so they are competitive with online retailers and shipping is free. Where I have a problem is with the staff. They are friendly and eager to help, but they aren't very knowledgeable and they've sold me the wrong item on several occasions. Examples; yesterday I went in to purchase a Spektrum AR400 receiver. They didn't have any in stock, but the clerk pushed towards an AR600 receiver. He told me they were only 10 more than the AR400. I made the purchase and checked the price once more. The AR600 was 30 more than the AR400. Another time I purchased a LiPo battery for my Firebird Stratos. He said they didn't have the exact battery, but that the one he showed me would work. I purchased it and found out that the battery he sold me had the wrong connector. Another time I purchased servo connectors. Again I was told they would work. I installed them only to find out they were too large for plane. I've now accepted the fact that I can't just go into HobbyTown and ask for advice. I have to do my research first. But then why bother going into a store when you can get the same stuff online and have it delivered to your door? It may take slightly longer, but most of the items that I need (replacement parts) have to be ordered anyway.

Counter help not very helpful... General manager is an arrogant jerk with an attitude and definately not customer oriented..I'll take my business elsewhere!
