I highly recommend doing business with the Rockford Illinois location. I purchased two separate gifts on two separate occasions within the last month, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and beyond accommodating when it came to shipping a thousand dollar boat to my house “Without a scratch in the packaging”. You will NEVER get this type of VIP service from the online giant... The manager was even able to give me a little better deal than I could have done by buying from the big box store online... Do yourself a favor and check out the amazing store in Rockford for ALL of your hardest to buy for friends and family! They will definitely thank you!

Best hobbytown within 200 miles easy. John the owner knows how to run a great hobby store. They have so much stuff in there it's hard to see it all. They always having somthing cool and cant leave without buying somthing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! If your near by you have to stop it's well worth it I promise.
I’ve been shopping here for about a year now and it is hands down the best hobbytown in Illinois. They have a huge selection of airplanes and cars/trucks with competitive pricing. Not to mention the owner John and manager Ashley are so knowledgeable and super friendly. They always do right by the customer. I live closer to a competing store but make the hour drive to shop at this location bc of the great customer service.
I had no idea that an \adult toy store\ like this existed. Went in to get some extra parts for my kids RC Car and EVERYONE behind the counter was extremely helpful and the prices are better than most online. John was the one I talked to on the phone before I went down and he had everything ready for me when I got there. There was also a young lady whos name I did not get who was very knowledgeable and helped with showing me how to put the parts on. Couldn't be happier.
Great staff! I had a servo go bad in my Xmaxx after 15 min out of the box. I brought my Xmaxx in the the shop and they had me up in running again in no time! Top notch service, guys! Thanks again!
