Dr. Tanner, the actual veterinarian, answered the phone around 5:30 AM on Christmas Day in order to do an emergency surgery on our puppy that busted her stitches after being spayed at another vet. He told my wife to give him 20 minutes and he would be at the center (mind you it is still before 6:00 AM on Christmas day). Nightmare scenario, but Hodes staff (Robert and Morgan) saved my dog's life on Christmas Day. I will forever be grateful to them. They are not the cheapest vet, but they might be the best.

I have a young Greyhound puppy who had a case of hookworm. Racing Greyhounds need special care in this area due to the drug resistant variety they have. The folks at the clinic were very friendly and responsive. The vets know all about Greyhounds and got her on the best treatment plan. They are always very open and friendly. I recently had to put down my Great Dane, Otto, of 10 years. They came to my home and took care of it with compassion and understanding. I was a complete mess, but they were there for me. I can't recommend them enough. Local and really knowledgeable and great people to work with.
