great pizza, great atmosphere
I've been to Marcella's a few times in the past couple of months and i have to say I am extremely impressed! The portions are plentiful and the taste is exquisite! The pizzas and linguini Alfredo are my favorite things there. Stop by and give them a try, the reviews on here are old and this place pleased me all the times I've been. I will be returning!
I ordered their pizza online a couple of times and BOTH times it took a ridiculous amount of time for the delivery! Last time (on a Wednesday night, so for sure not their busiest night....) it took more than 1 1/2 hour!!!!!! And the pizza was just poor as it was almost uncooked and, of course, cold! I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER get anything from them again! If they want to keep their business they better hire better and more organized delivery people and better pizza maker (FYI, I am Italian and I know what a good pizza should taste like!)
We have ordered delivery from this place for years. They recently have gotten our delivery wrong a few times. Finally, after getting the family dinner wrong, I called and spoke with owner, Mo. After explaining, the situation, not only would he not refund the money promptly, he would not promptly bring corrected order. He offered option was to drive to his restaurant for a refund and exchange of food or take a credit for next time. Neither was acceptable to me and I insisted he return to refund cash promptly, which he did not do. Long time customer lost for a 10 bill!
