I can't say enough about the very friendly, professional service I received here. A girlfriend and I decided on tattoos while visiting. Nothing big but started off with several others that touted walk in services. After being growled at over the phone and in person by other shops that we should have booked an appointment, our last call was to Holy City before we threw in the towel. I wish I remembered the name of the girl answering phones and running the front of the shop. So nice! She took our number and called an artist to see if he could take care of us. An immediate call back and she booked us for that afternoon. Just as friendly when we showed up and the shop looked and smelled clean. We had to wash our hands when we entered and they took Covid precautions every step of the way. Will did our tattoos and he couldn't have been more polite and professional. I give a lot of credit to shops that don't look down their noses when you ask for something small instead of starting a large custom piece. We were treated like our two small tattoos were just as important as someone coming in to collaborate on a custom sleeve. I will be back next time I'm in Charleston. Thanks, Holy City!

The artists at Holy City are awesome. Friendly and welcoming and they turn your dreams into reality. We went for the first time yesterday and plan on going back soon! The shop was very clean and had a cool vibe. Excellent Covid policies too.

The tattoo work done on my fiance and I was good, but the pricing was a little high. My tattoo was just 3 words, 10 inches or so in total length and it ran me 200. 100 more then I could've possibly gotten elsewhere. Hers was a small calf tattoo no bigger then 3 inches by 3 inches and was charged 100. The artists were very nice and friendly and we had a good experience it was just pricier then what I have gotten in the past.

I got my first big tattoo over at Holy City Tattooing Collective. I was unsure exactly what I wanted or who I wanted to do it when I arrived during the week. The young lady at the front desk was so patient with me and talked me through everything. Brittanie met with me that day and we discussed my options. I came back into Holy City Tattoo Collective the following Saturday (walk-in day) and although they were very busy Brittanie hooked me up. She was super professional and easy to talk too. I am so happy with the tattoo I received and I certainly will be not be going to another tattoo artist anytime soon. Attached are fresh/healed pictures of the tattoo. The script was done previously. Oh MAN! I went tonight to get 2 tattoos done by Miss Amber and wasn’t disappointed! She talked to me the whole time and even was willing to take some photos for me afterwards. The staff are all so kind! I was also pretty happy with how clean and Covid safe they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is needing a tattoo in the area. I’m very happy with my results!
