Read the BBB.org reviews and complaints for LPI, Inc. (the manufacturer) before buying. Unfortunately, this company has quite the scam going, and we fell for their bait & switch. LPI supposedly creates (or at least owns) the Catalina and Pinnacle brands. We purchased what was supposed to be a Signature Spa brand from an LPI roadshow, which was ultimately a tent in a mall parking lot. We were sold a certain model branded by Signature Spas for a total of 6700. When the hot tub arrived, it was branded Home and Garden Spas and did not have all of the features that were included in the documentation that we were provided at the time of purchase. Fortunately, we realized this before the company cashed our check so we were able to place a stop payment on the check and try to work through the customer service. We were assured that we just received the wrong model and that someone else must have received ours, yet the rep would not provide any pricing information for the hot tub that we received. We are still waiting for a refund for our initial 2700 deposit and the company has already come back to pick up the hot tub that they delivered. When I dug into this company and their brands, the brand that the delivered was their lower end model that they sell online at stores like Home Depot and Lowes. The 6700 model that was delivered was only 4900 at Home Depot, yet the rep refused to do anything for us other than pick up the hot tub or offer 300 worth of additional filters and supplies. DO NOT BUY FROM LPI! Their brands include Laguna Spas, Home & Garden Spas, Catalina Spas, Pinnacle Spas, and Signature Spas.
