The team at Coal Point is one of the friendliest and most customer service oriented groups that I have ever encountered. We got back to the dock just a few minutes before closing and they were very accommodating, taking our catch from us just before shutting the doors. Our order was processed and shipped very quickly. Unfortunately, the shipment was delayed at a fed ex facility in memphis because of a winter storm. The Coal Point team proactively reached out to me and let me know that they would help me through every step of the process to ensure that we were taken care of in the event that our order fish was spoiled upon arrival. When the order was delayed several additional days, these guys went so far and beyond my expectations, offering to help even further when fed ex stated that they would not approve an insurance claim due to a weather delay. Luckily when the order arrived, my fish and crab were still cold and partially frozen, and none of this was necessary. Bottom line- I was incredibly impressed with the customer service I received, going far beyond what I could even hope for. I will absolutely go back to Coal Point and recommend them to everyone that I possibly can.

They do a great job packaging and freezing fish for a reasonable price. If you factor in your time, the purchase of your own freezer bags it is more cost effective to have Coal point seal & freeze your fish. Ours keeps for up to 2 years in the freezer with out freezer burn.

If your fishing during this tough time, covid 19 .. many places hours of operation are different. This place says there open, but dont answer, there phone. Gives you 3 options to different phone numbers to leave a message and they will call you back. No calls were ever called back! We fished for 3 days there and never got anyone to answer the phone. We were asked to leave our meat in freezor outside and it would be processed next day! They dont weigh it and our 10 lb halibut turned into 4 lbs next day, guess we learned.

Awesome service. Added fish to the package to make it to our 50 pounds. The halibut tacos awesome. Fish chowder.and the smoked sampler was good. Do not eat the Asian bowl they served the rice cold.
