The customer service is terrible. Both times that I’ve called the shop the workers there have been very rude and could not answer a simple question pertaining to if they had certain equipment in stock.

Mustl be some very mix up about my experience at HEAVY METAL BARBELL CO. I have been a long time customer when they were still in Kaimuki, they are best local outlet for all your physical fitness equipment. Weʻre from Kona. Looked for a simple flat bench while in Honolulu in mid-August. Kevin and his staff were very professional and helped us find what we needed for a fair price. Instead of paying for them to ship it to Kona, they suggested we check the boxed bench as baggage through Hawaiian Airlines on our return trip. Because we only had 1 bag to check (and could another for free) we were able to check the box thru to Kona at no-cost. What a great idea and it saved us a few bucks! Mahalo HMB! Weʻll be back!
