Had a great two tank deep dive today with Reef Pirates. Dive guide Joe and captain Chris were great! They put us in the right places, helped us get all the gear loaded up and fitted appropriately. Love that we were the first on the water in the morning (we left the dock at 7:30) and no crowds. As a doctor, I always pay extra attention to how a company operates within safety protocols, and they were top notch. Safety first, Fun second, and an incredible experience on top of that! In a Covid world, they were only allowed to have 6 divers and they followed all protocols perfectly. I have nothing bad to say about my experience, except that I wish I had a full day of diving and not just two tanks. When I dive next in Oahu, it will be with these guys!

I would highly recommend these guys! They keep the groups small which is way more relaxed and enjoyable - you don't feel like you are crammed on the boat. Knowledgeable, safe and fun crew. Great experience.

I did Discover Scuba with Reef Pirates yesterday and the experience was AMAZING! Jess, Stephanie, James and Captain Chris were so much fun to go out with for my first dive. They gave us very clear instructions for our first time diving and I felt super comfortable with them. Jess made sure we were not rushed on the way down, were comfortable with our skills and was a great guide. She was also great helping me adjust my buoyancy while underwater. We had a small group on the boat, just 6 people aside from the instructors, which really helped make it feel like a private experience. Next time I am back on Oahu, I would absolutely dive with them again.

Best Diving Charter company I’ve experienced. Safe and knowledgeable about the area- the sites you dive are determined by the conditions. Also, this was the first charter that doesn’t rush you to get in the boat, suit up, etc. So chill and lets everyone get ready when they are ready. Small groups of six or less make for a much better experience. Less bumping into other divers. You can count on that here. They are super close to a lot of sites, so the boat rides are only 10-15 min. Early start means you get there before all other charters and turtles, fish, etc aren’t all scared off. We dove the Corsair and then sea turtle sanctuary. Jake (from State Farm) guided everyone incredibly well and met everyone at the skill level they had. They pride themselves in being the only charter on the island with a 100% safety rate, which is incredibly impressive. Cannot recommend enough.

Yes... they are open and doing dives by appointment. I was in Oahu last couple weeks and had the pleasure to do a few dives w/ jake. Couple nights before that I did two night dives w another company (HSC) and didn’t have a good time at all. Bad weather and horrible conditions (storming), bad currents and faulty material. After my dive w Reef Pirates, comparing them, I realized that they are focusing on safety first. Even though everyone underwater was certified jake Was always close to everyone and help me when I had issues. After everyone was back, Jake took the time to give me a 30 mitute one on one clinic and told me what I was doing wrong and what I could do to improve. Because of that, of course I booked Another two dives the next morning… It was one of the best experiences of my life… went to a airplane wreck and also a turtle sanctuary. The tips that jake gave me, my bottom time (time underwater) was increased by 20 minutes, my weight was adjusted and many other things. It’s like I just learned everything again. Thanks again for everything Reef Pirates!!

Did a dive today with capt. Dan and instructor Joe. Great team. We were running a bit late and they waited for us. Out on the water it was a bit choppy as we had high winds " mother nature " but the guys made the best out of the conditions we had. Both dives were amazing once under water. Can't ask for a more professional team. Thanks guys... hope we get a chance to dive again before we go back to main land

I took my son for our first time diving ever and the entire crew was exceptionally helpful in every way. We felt safe while having fun. I appreciate the time they took to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We didn’t feel rushed at all even though we were a bit slower than the rest of the divers on the boat. I highly recommend Reef Pirates. We are looking forward to our next dive with them.

By far my fave on Oahu. If you are diving out of the east side the island, this is the place. They are extremely kind to divers, fun, and safe. My fave about these fellow divers: they understand that we want small groups of similar skills. Book early! ️
