We love love loved Cedar Crest Stables... Don was amazing... Our 9 year old daughter was scared to death but Don had her calmed down & ready to go in just a couple of minutes. This will be a memory that she will never forget... Thank You So Much Don you made you made Rae' the happiest little girl in the world....

I’m from North Carolina, and was looking for something fun to do while visiting Albuquerque! I googled horseback riding nearby, and this popped up! It was the best horseback riding experience I have had! Riding thru the mountains was beautiful! I would recommend the 2 hour scenic view to see then mountains! Horses were very people friendly, and the horse guide/ owner did a wonderful job telling us about the local area. He was a nice people friendly person! Highly recommend this if you want to see the mountains on horseback, peaceful setting! I will be doing this again, when I come back to visit!

I have boarded my horse with Donald for five years now and have absolutely no desire to switch barns. Donald is amazing. Him and his wife are so kind and welcoming, and I have the upmost faith that he'll take care of my mare as well as he takes care of his own horses. She is so at ease here and with him, and for a mare that's had men abuse her in the past, that speaks so well of his character. Plus, you can't beat the trails that are literally right across the street. I cannot recommend him enough!

We did the 2hr ride up to the crest. Fantastic views, great guide and lovable horses. During the ride, you get treated with plentiful amounts of \Dad jokes\ and interesting history tid-bits. Horses were very well trained and easy for a newbie like myself to ride.
