The hospitality Center opened up a food pantry there. During this pandemic their Pantry came in very handy. They were giving away perishables and non-perishables. They were very friendly and courteous. However, you're not allowed inside you have to wait outside with the proper social distancing. Then you knock on the door, step away, and someone will come out and service you.

They are efficient and personable. They don't make you feel like you're a lowlife or a freeloader.

It's not very often we go looking for help. I'm 8mo pregnant and working full time. My husband and my son went here this morning to get help with food to make what we have last a bit longer. The shelves weren't properly labeled and there was confusion about what he could take. One of the older volunteers proceeded to berate him in front of our son for the duration of the checkout process. My husband even went so far as to tell her he's embarrassed and she still continued, and even berated him TO my child. When he asked that maybe the shelves should be labeled so people know what they can have , she nastily replied that maybe he should come down there and volunteer and do it himself, among other things that were pretty awful as well. Along with most people already know what they can have. We didn't . We don't make a career out of foodbanks. We pay taxes into the community and have for years,as well as volunteering and donating to various charities. To seek help in a troubling situation and be completely degraded and embarrassed is terrible, and if you don't like serving your community, you need to stay at home. I feel for the families who have no choice but to rely on foodbanks and get this kind of treatment. You should be ashamed of yourself for berating a family under the guise of serving your community, and had I personally been there with him, the outcome would have been very, very different.

Great service to the community, and resources to help those that need a helping hand.
