One of the best hidden gems in Houston. A classic Texan meat shop where you can find the best and most exotic type of meats. And the good part is they prepare the best buffalo burgers in town! The local made jerky, cheese stake sandwich & ribs are out of this world, you will never get board of the food in here. And to end it the perfect way, try the home made cookies. Owner here is so down to earth and very generous. It's a must go to place for a good local food.

Pete’s Fine Meats & Deli has got a wonderful selection of meats. It’s one of the few places in town I can find a good shoulder roast (grocery stores never have it or don’t know what I’m talking about). The staff is very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. I haven’t tried the prepared foods in the deli section, but it always smells delicious. While there are closer places to my house to buy meat, I’d rather drive a little further and get exactly what I want. That’s why I go to Pete’s!
