This is one of my favorite spots in Houston. Close enough to see all the skyscrapers, with Buffalo bayou trails spread beneath you, it makes the perfect picnic spot or you can just park here and walk downtown.

Take care how far you go East as parts of the walk smell like urine. Besides that aspect, this is my favorite part to walk. Views of the city, highway, Downtown Aquarium & take the route to burp the Bayou. Fun for kids & big kids. This route also allows you to add mileage through the theater district.
