Everything on the menu is small but delicious! Definitely pricey but is worth every dime. I got one Japanese whiskey flight and a Sake flight and that was it for me . I recommend the skewers. Definitely coming back soon

Decent food but definitely idk if it was too hyped up for me some of the skewers I thought izakaya wa was miles better. But overall still good food and worth trying. Fav items: shitake skewer and the white tuna
We went last night and the black ramen was absolutely declious. The noodles were thin, the egg was flavorful, and the pork was nicely seasoned. The tuna bowl and pancake was great. We also liked the rib eye cap. The hearts and garlic chicken wings were okay but not my favorite. The servers were nice and attentive.
Tonite was my 3rd time here in 2 weeks. Well 3 times is definitely a charm. Wanted to make sure even though i knew the minute i stepped in the door the first time. Allen the manager was attentive and top notch answering every question. Need i say service was great. With sashimi, ramen, n grilled meat on skewers, the menu choices with a twist here n there makes me very happy. The miso black cod is a dish i keep telling people to try before they die lol they serve it here!! This is now my fav H-town hangout spot. Plus your open late til 2am, that is the cherry on top. Well the fried bananas n ice cream was really good too lol. The food, decor, ambience, sake flights, whiskey flights, and the whiskey bar is so addicting Toukei is now pumping through my veins. Now if ya had a cigar lounge i would move in. HONEEEY...im home!!!
Good place to hang out with friends for late night. It is a little bit pricey, but the food is good. Would not recommend for a huge group (10 or more) since they may not have the sit available.
This is one of the few places that has chicken skins cooked texturally similar to chicharones. I became allergic to pork a few years ago, so I was super happy to see an alternative. Their quail eggs are AMAZING. The drinks? Well crafted. The atmosphere? Friendly AND Knowledgeable. My husband and I love this spot.
Went here on a date night with my wife and was very impressed with the ambiance and atmosphere. The service here is one of the best that I have ever experienced. We ordered the quail eggs, garlic chicken wings, seaweed salad, ribeye cap, short ribs, baby octopus, Brussels sprouts, and Thai hamachi. Thoroughly enjoyed everything except for the chicken wings, ribeye, and short ribs. For us, it seems like the beef had the same marinade and therefore tasted the same. As for the chicken wings, they were a bit undercooked. Probably will come back and give another try on some other dishes to see if they are any better.
Great place to sample some Japanese whiskies and share a variety of tapas style plates and heartier dishes. Enjoyable experience and definitely a place to visit multiple times. There is plenty of parking but it gets crowded at night.
