From 1989 to 1993 my mother would take me there every week for the new releases. Some of my fondest memories as a child were going to the store and buying the new releases of Spiderman, Wolverine, and X-Men. I no longer live in Huntington, but last time I was in town I drove by and happened to see the store still standing there all these years later. And from what I understand the lady that owns it still does. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

Great selection of new and old issues of comics

This store is as advertised - comics. However, it is only comics unlike most other comic shops today. The prices here are really high compared to everyone else. Selections are varied which is great but be prepared to pay.

The selection here is incredible. They have some graphic novels and comic books I've been searching for for a while. Everything was priced very fairly- I honestly can't believe what I got for what I spent. Definitely make a point to stop here if this is your thing.

The Penny Loser

Large selection of back issues as well as new. New issues seem to be mostly in alphabetical order, but the section is kinda cluttered. The back issues seem a bit overpriced and don't have backing boards, but they are arranged well for fairly easy browsing. The lady working there during my visit was very friendly and helpful.
