I just want to give a big shout out to Barbara and Hyde Evans Design! They were awesome to work with, very professional, timely and all with a good dose of humor when I got a bit anxious! They were very communicative every step of the process, including weekly email updates on the progress of my project. Barbara's sense of design is impeccable, I'm thrilled with the end result and will recommend Hyde Evans Design to anyone looking for a top notch interior designer in the greater Seattle area!

I employed Hyde Evans Design a few years ago to do a complete remodel and furnishing of a vacation condo and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome and the experience of dealing with Barbara and her professional team. I was kept continually informed of project status and always provided with various cost options around their design recommendations. They also provided many innovative design solutions that dramatically improved the livability and functionality of my space. I will definitely employ them again for my future projects.
Our family (w/ two young children) has used Hyde Evans Design for our main home and a vacation home in the San Juan islands. Barbara and her team did an outstanding job for us on both homes. Our homes are completely different styles with one being a craftsman and the other a Northwest contemporary; they both turned out beautiful as Barbara’s designs “fit” the style of each home. Barbara listened to our goals and likes/dislikes and then came up with great ideas that were kid friendly and met our budget. She also presented numerous different options for us to choose from and was not afraid to let us know if something we liked would not be a good choice (conflicting style, not kid friendly, durability issue, etc.). After going through multiple remodels my wife and I agree that Barbara’s services are a key requirement to have a truly finished home and will definitely use her for any future projects.
Barbara and all at HED were a pleasure to work with on our new home project. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness were evident in all our encounters. Barbara's talent for design was never more evident than when she explained why something \worked\ or didn't. With her guidance, we designed a home that will be unique and timeless at the same time.
We did not feel comfortable giving feedback on the project based on Barbra’s responses. Also, we felt mislead on project costs and they would not budge an inch on what we felt we were being overcharged for. This is the first vendor review I have ever left. It was just so upsetting. All other vendors on our 19 room remodel were five star and a joy to work with.
