Rented a cabin for three nights! Very very relaxing, quiet and beautiful! I came with my girlfriend and two kids and we got a cabin for four and it's actually spacious LOL. They gave us a space heater cuz it's a little chilly and we brought a space heater, so the cabin is nice and warm! This place is perfect for kids who have their noses buried in computers and cell phones. A little break from the norm, you know what I'm saying :-) there's plenty to do here and the people that work here are awesome! I'm posting some pictures, you could even go on little hikes in the woods :-) I totally recommend this place!

I rented one of the primitive campsites nice and quite reasonable price also near the North entrance of ichetucknee for when those nice warm summer months get here

Very close to the head spring (north entrance). The staff was very nice and answered any and all questions we had. They really made us feel like family. The cabins were very basic, but very reasonably priced. The shower house had no air and were very hot and not very clean (late night, so we went behind everyone else tracking in all day possibly. The camp spots were very small. We rented out spot and the spot in front of us to give us some room to operate. Our poo pipe was in our back neighbors yard area.

What a great little campground! I hadn't even intended to stop, but then I saw their sign for kayaking for 16.95! What a deal! They take you into the state park to the Ichetucknee River, get you into your kayak, and turn you loose. It's about a 4 hour or so paddle, just meandering down the river. So beautiful! And when you get to the 3rd dock, call them, and they come pick you up! The people are so friendly and informative and it's such a neat, rustic little campground. I highly recommend a stop here, you'll enjoy yourself immensely!

This campground is conveniently close to Ichetucknee St. Pk. and very low key. The amenities are the natural surroundings.
