This is such a warm, cozy, well loved and cared for vacation home. Good use of space, I would say a great spot for a family with small children. While it sleeps up to 8, there is only 1 bathroom, and the owners are upfront about doors not closing all the way and lack of privacy. Owners have made it as comfortable as possible for vacationers, and are really responsive, sweet and helpful. They also provide extras like the Forest Adventure passes for hiking the parks, a full kitchen with common spices/ condiments, and they have laundry available in their home. Hot tub is great for after hiking soaks and their patio is a great place to have dinners when warm. Would definitely return

Quaint little place. Next to Cafe Aroma. Nice wood detail inside.

Idyllcottage was the best place to go for a quick getaway located in Southern California. Just 2 hours away from\u003cbr/\u003eLos Angeles, we enjoyed this cozy cabin in the small town of Idyllwild. We’ve also stayed at idyllcove and both of these cabins have so much charm and character. Management is great and ensures that you have everything needed for your stay! Love these cabins definitely recommend

Stayed here for five nights in May and loved it. The fireplace was cozy on that first snowy night, and I appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with spices and olive oil, so I could use the food I'd brought and didn't have to run out to the grocery store immediately. Location is great -- across the road from the Aroma Cafe, a place I also recommend. On mild evenings I opened the kitchen window while cooking so I could hear the distant jazz playing from the cafe. Idyllwild itself is a charming, eccentric town in the midst of great natural beauty. You should go.

Spent four lovely mid-week nights at Idyllcottage in mid-December for my finance's birthday. It's ultra charming and cozy and quiet, yet easily walkable to the town center. It's tucked back right across the street from the Aroma Cafe which has a beautiful fully covered and heated \outdoor\ pet-friendly dining area which was perfect for having a nice dinner with our well-behaved dog while it was so cold outside. The gas fireplace is integrated into the heat temp setting and comes on and off automatically, keeping the cabin very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, for a beautiful mountain getaway escape!
