My 550 LED Formello pendant developed rust on the inside. Hmmm. made in China?? I discovered the issue was out of warranty but am sure it was present long before. My first contact was on Feb. 2020. Denial of course as expected, but I asked for some assistance and I sent my receipt and images as requested. Their next response was that I had a water leak. I made my case why that was not the case and proceeded to wait over FOUR MONTHS for a final response, during which time the fixture no longer worked at all. I was repeatedly told that the decision making manager's email response was \out of the office\. FOUR MONTHS! Finally because of my persistence, they declared \it was out of warranty anyways\ as the eventual response provided by the decision maker, whoever that is. I only wanted some help and did not have unrealistic expectations. They do not provide reasonable customer service, they do not work with you, they are unresponsive at the senior level and to her credit, Beth the point person, did what she could. Do yourself a favor and avoid Kichler, Elan products.

We had a bathroom remodel, and after it was complete we noticed one of the lights in the Kichler Barrington fixture was off slightly, removing the glass & bulb and a quick examination showed one of the two mounting screws inside the bulb fixture was missing (hence the slight slant). I don't know how far along the fixture was assembled when it was shipped to the job site and the electrician installed it - meaning I don't know if the factory had a quality control issue or if our electrician skipped or lost a screw and didn't say anything. Home Depot couldn't match the missing screw to anything they sold, so I called Kichler Customer Support to try to buy a packet of new screws, and Lindsey in their customer service mailed us out a small bag of replacement screws for free, without any hassle. Thanks, Kichler!
We bought a portable lantern Linden model number 49500, didn’t get to use it as the glass globe putting it on. seemed a little loose so we tighten the screw and the glow broke. Called the toll-free number to let them know what happened, the girl had horrible customer service and proceeded to say she didn’t care that we didn’t get to use it, we broke it go and find a dealer to replace the globe. First and last time I will ever buy KICHLER!
Very impressed with the customer service! My toddler broke the glass on a brand new light we were installing, they are sending a replacement for free! Also the product line we purchased is the Barrington collection and we are in love with the product! Thank you for being such an upstanding company!
