The people there are nice not mean
The West Washington Trustees office by the fire station turns me down everytime....they olny help VETERANS and WOMEN that have CHILDREN. They don't help regular working people, who need a little help when things are down. You are punished and looked down on if you have a job and told stop being lazy and given a full screening beacuse they think your hiding something. The reception is rude and the office staff is horrible. They act like they are better than you and that they're doing you a favor when you're the one that need a little help and we pay taxes TOO. They also schedule your appointments in the middle of the day when you have to work so you will miss it..Thanks for nothing you guys are useless just shutdown turn your back on hard working Americans. One day you will need help and your family's too will know how it feels to be turned away.
Came to the office earlier today about getting my Utilities and rent paid and got denied because I lost my job in February and got put out on the streets with my 3 year old and decided to get a place with my taxes. I informed them that I had just started a job and I needed assistance. Lady had a poor attitude and when I let her know about my situation, she said “that’s not our problem”. I thought this was a place that helped you. Never again and I would not refer anyone to this place.
So this morning was the second time I ever came to this place of business. The first time I was turned down! Both times I was in desperate need of help! This morning I went and it was a different lady this time who needed wayyyyy more information than first lady needed. No big deal, but I feel like she miscalculated because she said I have to bring proof of 3,000 worth of receipts from the past 90 days that she said is \loitering around\ within 72hours.. Are you serious? If I had a extra 1,000 each month trust me I wouldn't be here for help, and my utility bill will be a 00.00 balance. So my case is pending and more than likely I will get no help once again... and the sad part about it is we really need help! Christmas is coming up and it's cold outside and me and my 5 children might be in the dark & cold!
Warren Township Trustee barley helps a third of the needy that walks through the door Their intake process is designed to look through your individual case and find any reason to disqualify you from recieving assistance from them. For example if you lost your job and your employer owed you money that they havent paid you yet. The trustee would deny until you collected that money no matter the amount. Then they would tell you to reapply. Then deny you again because you just recieved money no matter the doller amount. The trustee has be a front for years to stash tax dollars.
These people are very judgmental, and does absolutely nothing to help you very sad. There was about 10 people on there and I don't believe they helped anyone.
If they can help you with your bills they will do everything they can do
