I love this golf course! The course is in good shape but more importantly the staff is very personable. One of the staff calls me by name which makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. I know masks are controversial but I am a mask-wearer and I like that Sahm is supporting the Marion County mandate. Thank you, Sahm!!

Sahms is what you expect for a city course on the northside. It's overcrowded with what seems like only 5 minutes between tee times as it's always stacked up. The course isn't bad but the experience for anyone other than the retired folks who don't have a schedule is lacking. Driving range is convenient for anyone that works close and I believe that's the biggest value this course offers. Don't be in a hurry and plan on at least a 5 hour round with a foursome and stock up on the booze and this place is tolerable.
A girlfriend of mine and me tried to go with our husbands to enjoy and drink and watch them golf. They wouldn’t even let us on the course because we didn’t have clubs and we weren’t golfing. We already paid for our own golf carts and weren’t gonna hurt anyone but watch and spectate but they said that’s not allowed so they just missed out on at least 100 on us by not golfing there and never going back! Good luck women who don’t golf or don’t even have their own clubs!
The course is well maintained and the cost to play 18 holes with a cart is reasonable. Staff is friendly and cares in good shape. No GPS on the carts.
Fair greens fees. Bo and crew do a good job keeping the course open all year. For a city course it's very playable. Greens are in good shape. IF the cart paths were re-paved it would add so much to this course. They have a great practice range and it's pricing is good.
