You have to try the Island Groove dance class! The atmosphere is amazing! The teacher is such a fun spirit! And it's just a fun experience overall. You forget you're working out and feel like you're at a dancehall. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to dance and groove and also loves to work out. It's a little pricey at 16 a class unless you get the package for multiple classes at 14 each but totally worth it.

I've only been once so far but it was a great experience. The entrance is very unsuspecting, but once you get inside, it's a non-stop dance party. They offer a very wide variety of classes at a very reasonable price. I've danced most of my life, but hadn't been to a proper class in almost a year. I found the class to be just challenging enough to accommodate a wide range of dance skill levels. I'm really looking forward to taking classes on a regular basis to see how much I can grow.

They have moved! Into a gorgeous new BIG location! Denise is offering all sorts of new classes...including a super cool YOGA BOX class. I know I know it seems contradictory in a way but it really works!

I've only taken one class here but I can't wait to come back (after my body heals). I was practically bed ridden after my West African dance class last week. It was so much fun and such hard work but totally worth every sweaty second.

I used to be a dancer (no, not THAT kind). From Jr. High through my mid twenties I danced my heart out through jazz, hip hop, lyrical and even some breaking (my back is still paying for that one). It's been awhile and I'm old and broken now, but I miss dancing so much.
