The staff were very nice and accommodating. The lady who did my ultrasound was polite but when the doctor came in she hurt me many times. She dug in under my arm with the wand and flipped it up across my upper arm and didn’t care whatsoever she had caused me any pain. I have a bulge in an implant and I thought she was going to completely rupture it. She seemed angry and and unpleasant! I hope that Southwestern finds another mammogram ultrasound facility. Sad

Solis Mammography at Las Colinas…I had an appointment 01/24/20 for a Biopsy of a breast lump and a lymph node. As well as it could be under the circumstances, the visit was great. Dr. Gupta performed the biopsies with Alex assisting her. Both Dr. Gupta and Alex were pleasant, informative letting me know what would be happening and frequently checking that I was okay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience despite the circumstances that I was there for. Additionally, the office, waiting and dressing areas were pleasant and calming. After the biopsies, I had a mammogram to verify placement of the markers, the 2 ladies doing that were very pleasant also. I do feel check-in could have been a bit quicker (I was there 10-15 minutes early, wasn’t called form my check-in until 11 minutes past my appointment time).

This review is for the medical records department. I had mammogram done December 6 and got a call saying I need further testing. I sent in request for my films to be sent to WA state where I am working. It has now been 30 days since the original request. I did fill out the wrong form the first time but with any common sense or just reading the form they could have figured it out. So I fill out the correct form and as of the 10th of Jan no records sent. They said I could come get them myself and with the holidays they haven’t sent out. All courier services work during the holidays. It actually would have been easier and less stressful for me to drive from Washington state then dealing with the rude staff here. The second lady i spoke to couple weeks later said “we have 30 days to get records sent”. I understand that and I work in imaging and know that when someone needs records they are getting further testing done so we make it a priority. Solis obviously doesn’t. I know to them this is of no importance but to me, when I am told I need further testing to determine is this could be breast cancer I want to get appointments made and tests done, which I can’t do until Solis sends films. I will not go to Solis for future exams.

I love Solis of Las Colinas! Everyone (from the receptionist to the technician) was so professional, kind and considerate. Jillian signed me in—she was so courteous, friendly and helpful! Getting a mammogram is not one of the most fun things to do, but Beth, the technician, put me at ease immediately. The staff there treated me like family, and I really appreciate that. Also, my wait time and the time it took to get the mammogram done were very short—this tells me the folks at Solis care about my time as well. Thank you, Solis, Jillian and Beth!!
