Nice beachfront site, but very tight. Poor placement of fire ring. Unable to move fire ring and it was too close to vehicles. July 2020 was out fifth time going to Lakeside Camping and will be our last. We have a pop-up camper and had to go to the Upper Crest area to shower which was no big deal. But was a big deal is that 3 of 4 showers were either down for an upgrade or repair so we always had to wait in line for a shower. Another not so nice experience was that a drunken seasonal camper named Francis accused my son of stealing fire wood from the seasonal wood pile. We brought pallet wood and theirs was split wood. We were 2 sites away from the fool that accused my son of stealing wood and it turned out that the kids that took the wood (at their dad's urging) were right next to his site. We talked to the owner (Maurice) who did nothing. We will go camping somewhere else next time.

I love camping, let me tell you that this is my best place for camping. Lake is amazing This place has all the services , perfect for kids
The sites were extremely close to each other so theirs little privacy. It's more like glamping then camping. It's pretty, but I prefer more of an outdoor experience when I'm camping.
I’ve been going here for years, the cheap owner decided to cancel WiFi. He also doesn’t control the seasonals so they have become obnoxious. Always drunk and riding around in golf carts all hours of the day. TOO MANY GOLF CARTS! A drunk lady almost slammed into our vehicle! Overall not a bad campground but be carful we’re you book.
The campsites on the water are very tight together and there isn't really adequate space between sites for campers with slideouts and their placement of firepits. You do have a lovely spot on the beach to enjoy a view of the sunset on the water.
